RECORDING WEEK - 2nd JUNE TILL 5TH JUNE

Tots lesson on as usual as they do not record.

PLEASE NOTE - Usual lessons don’t run tech week and normal lesson times do change so please double check.

Tots will have their own showcase and details will be on a separate post.
All other cast members will be required for 2.30pm matinee and 7pm show.

We will send our reminders but please mark down when your time slots are for both recording and tech week.
As I explained in previous messages, we book the theatre out for the whole week to allow time for the casts on stage to be able to block out their numbers with full lighting and sound as well as having a full tech rehearsal the day before the show so that they are ready for Friday night.
We also record all our Juniors, Young Seniors and Seniors which is something that no other academy does so that it is their voices you’ll hear at the show.
To be able to do this, we do add £17 per cast member to all June invoices.
This covers the cost of the theatre, sound, lighting, crew, and all areas back stage.
As well as working with Alex during recording week to record all vocals and for him to mix everything together to create the show tracks for us.
